Layout and cables

The CoolMax CUQ-1200B 1200W is big and measures 220mm x 150mm x 85mm. Its extra length compared to a standard power supply means its best suited for mid-tower or full tower cases.

This unit comes with one 135mm intake and one 80mm exhaust fans.

Here you can see the 135mm fan. The 135mm Globe Fan RL4Z B1352512M-3M (12V, 0.28A) fan is detachable from the power supply's PCB.

The CoolMax CUQ-1200B has a nice finish. CoolMax call it Hairline Aluminum Effect Surface. While this is not a 100% mirror effect, it does look very attractive.

Here you can see the internal layout and inside components of the CoolMax CUQ-1200B power supply. All components are well placed and have industrial grade. The design is clean with professional look. Please note, that if you open the power supply for any reason, you will void the warranty. The power supply is deigned to operate in temperatures between 0-50 degrees Celsius with humidity levels ranging from 20% to 80%. A large group of aluminum heatsinks are used to cool down components, and they are situated directly below the 135mm fan.
