Pricing and Conclusions

The street price for the ePOWER EP-350-CD UNI 350W Dedicated Graphic Card and CPU Power Supply as of November 2007 is $83.50.

Cost per watt. As you can see the average cost per watt is $0.24, which is high compared to a standard ATX power supplies in this class. But again, this unit provides you with +12V only while the regular PSUs have +3.3V, +5V and +12V rails.

Conclusions

During my testing, the ePOWER EP-350-CD UNI 350W Dedicated Graphic Card and CPU power supply was very stable and did not have any failures or other performance issues. There voltage fluctuations were very minima and stayed well within ATX standards.
This unit has both stability and silence, features Active PFC and support for 4 x 6pin PCI-Express (unfortunately, 8pin PCI-E connector pins are keyed incorrectly).

Strengths:
  -   Two independent +12V rails
  -   Fairly quite
  -   Active PFC
  -   Excellent build quality
  -   Main PCI Express cables shielded and have EMI filters
  -   Can utilize 4 x 6pin PCI-Express
  -   Compact case dimensions

Weaknesses:
  -   Price.
  -   No use of 8pin PCI-Express connectors (pins are keyed incorrectly).
  -   EPS12V 8pin and ATX12V 4pin cables might be too short for some big cases.
